In modern business leaders need to be able to think like entrepreneurs as well as displaying all the classic traits of good leadership.
This 12
week module helps students to explore the various styles of leadership, how
they have evolved over the years, and which they are most suited to. It helps
them to begin their journey towards entrepreneurial thinking, preparing them
for the world of work.
There are 3 separate assessments incorporating debating skills, a written
reflective journey and the fun of applying what has been learned in an
experiential business simulation.

In this Introduction to Marketing module, you will learn about some of the most important concepts and tools marketers use to drive business growth based on customer focus and continuous learning.
Over the next 12 weeks you will experience what it is like to think like a key member of the marketing team, capturing everything you learn in a fun and interesting poster format before presenting to the class using your poster at the end of term.
As well as this group activity there will be a multiple choice quiz which forms the remainder of the assessment for this module.

The Communication Skills module within the UK Business Degree Foundation Course is the start of your exploration of how communication works, in general, in business and in academia.
In the next 12 weeks you will learn about everything from active listening and facial expressions to slang words and accents, finding out about different channels of communication and how they have changed over time.
You will have an opportunity to work on a group presentation, present to the class, share ideas and opinions, as well as recording an individual presentation on video.

This is the start of the Business Reporting module within the UK Business Degree Foundation Course.
It is where you will learn about the importance of Business Reports, how they are used to make decisions, and how to write them.
You will have an opportunity to work in groups, present to the class, share ideas and opinions, as well as write up sections of your Business Report assignment each week.
